Performance lab tested at 3000°F (1650°C) for 1 minute, BST Thermal Protective Aluminized Glass Fiber Heat Reflect Sleeve reflects at least 90% of radiant heat energy.
Fiberglass Reflect sleeve can be used to protect industrial wires, cables, hydraulics hoses, piping and tubing from radiant heat sources such as glowing steel slab, liquid metal pour stream, infrared heaters and other similar sources.
Performance lab tested at 3000°F (1650°C) for 1 minute, this sleeve reflects at least 90% of the radiant energy that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables and hoses cool. The aluminum layers will not delaminate from the cloth, even under the most extreme heat conditions.The sleeve is constructed by slitting the blanket to the appropriate width and double stitching the edge with high temperature glass fiber thread.
